26.4.2022

IFL Ventures congratulates Kettering Professional Services, the Brisbane-based manufacturing-focused ERP consulting firm, on its successful sale to Atturra Limited, an Australian-owned ASX-listed technology services company.

The acquisition is Atturra’s first since going public on the Australian Stock Exchange in December 2021 and marks a key moment in their growth strategy.

Kettering, the sole Australian channel partner of vendor QAD Inc, specializes in the implementation, management and support of ERP solutions in the manufacturing sector Kettering was seeking a partner that aligned with their long-term future which could take them to the next level while retaining their strong points. “I am very excited about the opportunity for our staff and clients to benefit from the vision, scale and breadth of offerings that Atturra brings”, said Kettering outgoing owner Rob Cheesman.

It is great to welcome Kettering to the Atturra business. Kettering is a great fit both strategically and culturally. Atturra is passionate about building sovereign capabilities and ensuring that our clients, whether they are in the public or private sector, have a genuine local option. Atturra will now have over 50 manufacturing clients and is the Australian market leader in QAD services. Atturra is also well positioned to become the advisory and IT solutions provider of choice for the manufacturing sector,”
said Stephen Kowal, Chief Executive of Atturra.

Atturra believes Kettering aligns perfectly with Atturra’s strategy of being a leader in selected technologies and industries. Kowal added that additional opportunities to service Kettering’s existing and any new clients are also provided given the partnership between Atturra vendor partner Boomi and new partner QAD.

QAD, Atturra and the Kettering management team have already began looking at expansion opportunities in the market.

IFL Ventures acted as the exclusive advisor to the shareholders of Kettering throughout the sale process.

Throughout the process we felt safe in both your calm and professional approach. We appreciated the communication throughout and the confidence that it would work out well – and it has.” Rob and Katie Cheesman, Kettering Professional Services.
