The Sky’s the Limit – IFL advises Cloudstaff on US$20M Series B

08.5.2020

Cloudstaff have announced their investment from Philippines focused Navegar.

Cloudstaff Modern Workforce, a leading global cloud-based workforce provider, raised US$20m in Series B funds from Philippines-focused private equity firm Navegar. Cloudstaff is incorporated in Australia and based in the Philippines.

Navegar was previously an investor in TaskUs, a large provider of BPO solutions, which was sold to Blackstone for $250m in 2018. Building on this success, Navegar identified Cloudstaff as a leader in this sector. The investment will be used to accelerate Cloudstaff’s growth and development.

InterFinancial acted as Cloudstaff’s corporate advisor. We added significant value by helping management to articulate the strong growth story and managing discussions with multiple parties throughout Australia and Asia. Ultimately, we were able to complete the transaction despite severe market disruption due to COVID-19 restrictions.
